I hold a B.S.E. from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and studied at Kansas Wesleyan University and Southern Arkansas University. When I'm not writing, I enjoy connecting with readers on social media, spending time with family, and drawing inspiration from the Ozarks and beyond.

Some of my favorite authors include Pamela Morsi, Kathy Herman, Stephen Bly, Linda Lael Miller, Jan Karon, and Jodi Thomas—writers who, like  believe in the power of redemptive love and resilient characters.

Though I wrote my first novel in 2003, fear of failure kept it tucked away in a drawer. Today, my message to new writers is simple: Stop procrastinating and just go for it!
